Depending on the area you live, there are many flight options. Southwest, JetBlue, United all offer nonstop flights to Aruba from JFK, Newark, Philly, BWI and DC airports

Travel Note
Passports that donot expire within 6 months of travel are required to enter Aruba. Aruba also requires an Embarkation and Disembarkation form (ED card). This form must be filled out prior to arrival and is only available 7 days prior. The cost is $20. Be sure you receive a green check mark. Please use the following link to get yours. https://edcardaruba.aw Taxis are plentiful and it is about $30-$40 cab fare from airport to hotel area. You do not need a rental car because it is a very walkable island. Cabs are available if you want to explore the downtown area. You are able to rent cars or Jeeps if you do want to explore the island.
