If you ask Jake, they first met on the third grade school bus and Jessica was mean to him because he was a gross football player who called her a grass fairy. However, it all really started on the high school track team. It was all perfectly awkward and full of teammates constantly questioning if they were finally dating yet. After months of fake denial, they finally started dating. High school finished with Jake bringing Jessica coffee every morning and her only spilling it everywhere once, no matter what Jake may insist. Jessica then went off to the University of Dayton to study Chemical Engineering as Jake joined the National Guard. They struggled through basic training with lots of letters and printed out memes. Jake then supported Jessica through many of the stresses college brings with lots of love and helping her straighten her hair on nights out. During senior year of college, Jessica accepted a job with PepsiCo in Virginia and Jake decided it was time to put a ring on it and they moved to Virginia. They are now experiencing life together in Virginia with their cats Mouse and Meow Meow Kitty Face and Jake continues daily trying to teach Jessica how to cook without starting a fire.
