Our love story didn’t start with an initial spark but rather a slow burn to get to where we are today and I truly think that’s how it was meant to be. Jake and I started off as friends, we shared our first kiss in high school and then didn’t talk again for about 5 or 6 years. I’ll admit it, that was all my fault - I never answered his text message the next day… oops! We both moved on, graduated from high school then college then somehow found our way back into each other’s lives. A time where I think we both needed one another but didn’t know it at the time. We found that we balance each other out in all the right ways. After a while of dating we moved in together, grew our family by many, many paws, in 2019 we got engaged watching the sun rise on the beach & this past October we welcomed our beautiful little girl, Josephine into the world. We couldn’t be more blessed & excited for our future! I’ve thought about what life would be like if I answered Jake that next day but I truly believe everything happens for a reason. We grew up, learned some valuable life lessons, and now we get to spend the rest of our lives growing and learning from one another. We are each other’s biggest supporters and we bring out the best version of each other daily … I wouldn’t want it any other way. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
