Jack and I were lab partners in an Ecology class at Trinity Christian College. Thankfully, our professor (Dr. S) routinely paired us up since our names were so close in the alphabet. She then began to pair us up due to the undeniable compatibility between us. The professor assigned us the book, "Song of The Dodo," to read in class. Thankfully, both Jack and I preferred audiobooks. Jack stole his little brother Leo’s iPad that would read the book to us as we would study. Jack finally sealed the deal while studying one night. I had just gotten out of softball practice ABSOLUTELY FAMISHED. Jack, with his boyish good looks, offered me a chicken tender from the glorious Raising Cane’s chicken. Our relationship blossomed by going on weekly nature walks first thing on Tuesday mornings for class. We'd find ourselves talking a lot more about life than we would about the plants that we were supposed to be researching.
