Are Kids Allowed?

Answer

We do love your little ones! All children who are invited will receive an invitation with their name on it. Safety is our number one priority! Please know that the ceremony will be held outside with two large ponds on the property that is located in a heavily wooded area. Also know that there will be a bar serving adult beverages upon purchase and adults celebrating at the reception.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to ensure nothing is missed or interrupted. Please arrive no later than 3:45 pm or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.

Is There Parking at the Venue?

Answer

Yes! There is enough parking to accommodate 100 cars. Carpooling is encouraged but there will be available parking on site.

Can you bring a date or a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space we are only able to accommodate guests who have been formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, there will be a place to share who your plus one will be on the wedding website when you RSVP. If you did not receive a plus one, please respect our wishes as we are trying to keep our wedding intimate. Thank you for understanding!

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be outdoors, please plan accordingly. Cocktail hour will be in a covered area with heaters. The reception followed by dancing will take place inside the reception hall on the venue site.

What if you don’t RSVP on time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you if RSVP late. We will need to provide our vendors and venue exact numbers by a certain date. Please RSVP as soon as possible!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No, however there will be alcohol for purchase. Please plan accordingly and ensure you have a way to get home safely if you plan to purchase and consume alcohol during our celebration.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Columbia, SC (CAE) is the airport we recommend flying into. It is only a 30 -minute drive from where we will be having all of the wedding festivities. The next closest airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). This airport is an hour and a half drive from where we will be having wedding festivities.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged ceremony” (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do”. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab on our wedding website so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

We will have alcohol for purchase and a bar tending service who will be handling the beverages on site. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are no allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages onto the premises.

Please visit the RSVP tab on our wedding website and click your corresponding plan of attendance seen on the page.

Are there any colors that guests are preferred to wear?

Answer

We are envisioning a celebration filled with color! The theme for this wedding is wildflowers so we would love for our guests to join us in celebrating with wildflower colors in order to create a vibrant and joyful atmosphere for our special day. So we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing white, off white, egg shell, ivory, black, and if possible please avoid darker colors.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We would appreciate if all photos and videos taken AFTER the ceremony are not shared until the day after the wedding. We hope everyone will be present and too busy enjoying the day to have time to post anything!
