What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Merida is very hot! We recommend wearing something light and breezy. Tuxes and gowns are not needed for the wedding.

How many days should I spend in Merida?

Answer

Yucatan state is very diverse with a rich history and tons of natural beauty. We recommend staying anywhere between 4-7 days so you can check out the beach (30 minutes from Merida), visit archeological sites (Chichen Itza, Uxmal, etc.), and swim in cenotes. Please keep visiting the website as we'll add day trip recommendations.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are plenty of large chain hotels, boutique hotels, and AirBnb options in Merida. We recommend staying in a location that meets your needs for the trip. Neighborhoods/areas we enjoy are Santa Lucia, Centro, and Paseo Montejo.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

You don't need to rent a car if you plan to stay within Merida proper.
