How can we get around Barranquilla safely?

There are plenty of Ubers and taxis in the area but you can also contract a reliable, trusted driver. We recommend Luis Rodriguez. He works with his family and we have used them before and are lovely. He can be reached via whatsapp at +573016115007

Where should we exchange money?

Answer

The best exchange rates will be at banks. Your bank may have a partner bank in Colombia and that can avoid withdrawal fees so worth looking into. We do not recommend exchange of money at the airport.

How do I complete any travel requirements?

Answer

You must complete the Colombian Check-Mig immigration form within 72 hours of departure on the Check-Mig app or website. Colombia requires proof of COVID vaccination. Pack your immunization cards. Helpful hint: Department for Barranquilla is Atlantico.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place indoors.

The dress code is black-tie optional. Gentlemen, please wear a tuxedo or a suit and tie. Ladies, please wear floor-length dresses.

The hotel has a salon with a make up artist and full salon services. Her Instagram is @makepvivilama with a link to her whatsapp for appointments. So convenient!

Although we love your little ones, please make it a date night! This is an adults-only event.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start on time in order to respect the regularly scheduled evening mass at the church. Please arrive to the church at 4:00-4:15 pm.

Is there transportation to and from the Hotel El Prado to the ceremony?
