Flight
For those flying in, the closest airport is T.F. Green Airport (PVD) in Providence, Rhode Island—about a 45-minute drive to Newport. From there, you can either rent a car or take an Uber/Lyft directly to your hotel or the venue. You can also fly into Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), which is a larger airport with more flight options. It’s about a 1.5–2 hour drive to Newport, depending on traffic. We recommend flying into T.F. Green if possible for convenience, but either airport works well!
Train
If you're coming from a major city along the Northeast Corridor—like D.C., Philadelphia, New York, or Boston—Amtrak is a great option. You have two main choices: Amtrak Acela or Northeast Regional to Providence Station (PVD) – about a 45-minute drive to Newport from the station. Northeast Regional to Kingston Station (KIN) – a bit closer, about a 30-minute drive to Newport from the station. Both stations are small and may not have rental cars on-site, so we recommend planning to take an Uber or Lyft from the station to your hotel or the venue. It may be harder to find an Uber or Lyft from the Kingston Station.
Rental Car
If you prefer to drive, Newport is very accessible by car. For the event itself, complimentary valet parking will be provided at the venue, so no need to worry about finding a spot. Whether you're coming from nearby Rhode Island or making the trip from out of state, driving can be a convenient option—just keep in mind that traffic may be heavier over the holiday weekend.
Travel Note
Once you're in Newport, having a car isn’t really necessary. The town is very walkable, and Ubers and Lyfts are generally easy to find, especially around the downtown and harbor areas. You may find it simpler to skip the rental car and use rideshares to get to and from hotels, restaurants, and the venue.
Travel Note
We’ve put together a Google Map with several hotel options—complete with prices and locations—so you can easily compare and choose what works best for you. We recommend booking a hotel as soon as possible due to the high demand for hotels over the holiday weekend in Newport. Note that some hotels do not release availability for July 2026 until mid to late August or even early September 2025.
