We hope our wedding can be a great excuse to wear your favorite formal attire. (No jeans please!) Out of respect for the Bride, absolutely no white dresses of any sort. The bridesmaids will be wearing slate blue and the groomsmen will be wearing navy.
There is ONLY a shuttle service at the end of the night to get you back to your hotel. The hotels that the shuttle runs to are: Turning Stone Casino Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Verona La Quinta Inn & Suites Verona Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Verona To get to The Cannery for the ceremony/reception there is Uber or Lyft (it can be spotty since it is a rural area) You can always drive and leave your car and pick it up the next morning at The Cannery.
We love all of your children, however we have decided to make this a kid free celebration. We hope you understand! (The only children invited are those in the wedding party)
We are optimistic and hopeful that it will be safe to have all of our favorite people together for our wedding day. We will be carefully monitoring the current health situations in the months prior to the wedding. We will be in touch if any of our plans change.
For testing, the following tests will be accepted: Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) - test must be done within 72 hours of the event start time (Wednesday, May 26th, anytime after 4 PM) Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAATs) - test must be done within 72 hours of the event start time (Wednesday, May 26th, anytime after 4 PM) Antigen Test (Rapid Test) - within 6 hours of the event start time (Saturday, May 29th, anytime after 10 AM) For vaccination, guests must provide proof of having completed the COVID-19 vaccination series at least 14 days prior to the wedding.
No! Please no. We have hired a photographer for the day to capture everything. Our ceremony is unplugged, meaning no phones, cameras or videos! There is nothing more frustrating than hearing phones go off during the ceremony, or phones and hands blocking the professionals taking away from the bride and groom’s special day. This includes all entrances and exit from the ceremony. We would love for our wedding photos to have your beautiful faces in them and not have any sort of devices and more importantly we want you to be fully present during this very special moment for us. We also ask that you not stand in the aisle as this may block our photographer’s view. Thank you for understanding and respecting our wishes. After the ceremony, snap away. Pictures and videos welcome during cocktail hour and reception.
We will be collecting our RSVPs here on our wedding website. There is a tab at the top of the website labeled “RSVP,” click on the the tab, then type in your name to find your party. Please RSVP by Saturday, April 24th.
We will miss you! If you do not RSVP by the Saturday, April 24th there will not be any seating reserved in your name. We are paying per person and the headcount will need to be given to the venue. If you do show up without an RSVP you will be allowed to stay for the ceremony but will be asked to leave when it is over.
If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Please see the travel page for hotel information.
