A couple hotel recommendations. Hilltop is very close to our house with a great view overlooking all of the High Desert. (Just checked today and there are a few rooms available for that weekend at the Hill Top Inn.)
Home2Suites is also great has a pool and free breakfast which is a plus with kids! Hawthorne is very close to a lot of restaurant row and other stores!
