Part of Jessica’s job in the Air Force is to teach aircrew members how use their emergency equipment. Shortly after graduating Aircrew Fundamentals and follow-on training, Ethan was tasked to deploy and needed all of his courses with short notice. Due to the fast timeline and his neediness, she thought he had failed to maintain his currency and attributed it to his own negligence. Despite his charm and good looks, Jessica thought Ethan was a young airman with no motivation and didnt care for him much. It wasnt until midway through his deployment that she found out he was rushed to deploy because he was ahead of his class and felt bad for being so hard on him.
