"On December 23, 2022, Buffalo Grove, IL, and the surrounding Chicago area experienced a severe, historic Arctic winter storm characterized by dangerous cold, intense wind, and blizzard conditions" - NWS Our journey began when we both agreed to brave the freezing weather, and we went on our first date at Buffalo Creek Brewery. We hit it off immediately, and found warmth in each other. Eric had mentioned a trip he was planning to Asia after graduating from med school, which was 6 months after our first date. Eric mentioned he was going to Japan with a friend, and Vietnam by himself...Jessie knew she would change that ;) 3 months later, Jessie and Eric took a leap of faith together and booked flights to Vietnam for 2 weeks (not before a "test" trip to Florida for a weekend, of course). The rest is history, and their love for travel and adventure continued to Yosemite National Park, San Diego, Miami, Portugal, and Morocco. And that's just the beginning... After 2 years, in February, on Super Bowl Sunday, Eric proposed! We are so excited to start our forever together and can't wait to celebrate with you in May!
