I swiped right on Tinder and immediately it said we were a match (meaning Dinand had already liked my profile first), which of-course he would love to debate :) From there, he took me to Monte Casino to watch a comedy show with a quick coffee thereafter. A week or two passes, and there I am joining him on a weekend getaway to Frankie’s farm, our first of many adventurous getaways together. Little did we know what was lying ahead of us! We became friends first. We partied together through many nights, we travelled and explored many exotic and unique countries together, attended countless braai’s and dinners with each other’s friends and family, and before we knew it, just like that, 3 crazy, exciting, and great years had passed. Were we still friends? It was a lot more than that by this stage. Instead of only seeing each other on weekends, it was weekends plus a Monday and Tuesday, then a sneaky Thursday and before anything else, there I was loading all my boxes into his bakkie, and into Melville 106 I found myself all moved in A little while after, I found myself on one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen, and there was Dinand on one knee asking me to be his wife and I couldn’t stop saying YES YES YES!!!! Through our amazing journey, we have learnt a lot about each other. I know when Dinand is happy and he knows when I am mad We have laughed hard together, we have cried together, but most importantly, we have learnt to love each other through thick and thin. It’s our own personal journey and we’re packed and ready for all life’s adventures that lie ahead of us, and what better way is there to dedicate and commit our lives to each other as one by tying the knot and becoming MR and MRS. We are very fortunate for everything and everyone who has been a part of our journey and cannot wait to celebrate our special day with you all.
