Formal attire. Long dresses for women, suits for men.
As much as we would dearly love to include your children in our special day, due to space constraints we'll only be able to accommodate adults at the Wedding Reception (with the exception of the wedding party). Thanks for understanding! But they are welcome at the Welcome Event and Posboda! :)
The church has plenty of parking for guests, as does the Botanical Garden (for the reception). If you would like to have fun without worrying about it, the Botanical Garden will allow guests to leave their cars overnight—you can pick them up the next day when the gardens open (8am). Otherwise, Lyft and Uber are great options to get you from the party to where you're staying. There's a gap of a couple of hours between the ceremony and reception, so driving to the ceremony and then taking an Uber or Lyft to the reception is a good option!
So much! First off, it's MLB Spring Training, so if you're a baseball fan, why not take in a game? There's also great hiking throughout the valley...and don't forget about the Grand Canyon. Old Town Scottsdale has great shopping and dining in a touristy kind of way. A Different Pointe of View is a wonderful spot for a drink with a view. Sedona can make for a very pleasant day trip. And if you like golf, there are about a zillion golf courses at your disposal. Enjoy! And reach out to us if you'd like more specific recommendations.
The Friday evening welcome dinner will be indoors. On Saturday, the ceremony will be indoors; the reception will begin with an outdoor cocktail hour from 4:30-6:00pm, and will follow with dinner and dancing indoors. On Sunday, the postboda will be mostly outdoors, though there will be some indoor space as well.
