Booking a Room

We’ve reserved a special room block at The Fives Oceanfront Resort and encourage guests to stay on-site for the full wedding weekend. Since all events will take place at the resort, staying there is the easiest and most enjoyable way to celebrate with us. Our room block includes a limited number of rooms at preferred group rates, available on a first-come, first-served basis. We kindly recommend reserving your room as soon as possible. To book, please click the room block link on the Travel page! All room block reservations must be booked by September 15, 2026. If you have any questions regarding room types, booking dates, or would rather reserve your room over the phone, please email our wedding coordinator Aline and she will be more then happy to assist! Which Airport Should I Fly To

Answer

Please fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). Airport transportation can be arranged through the resort. Our wedding coordinator Aline is happy to assist with booking your transfer.

minimum night stay

Answer

A three-night stay (February 12–15, 2027) is required for guests staying within our wedding room block, as our celebration events will take place throughout the entire weekend. Preferred room block rates are also available February 7–19, 2027 for anyone who would like to arrive early or extend their stay and enjoy extra time in Puerto Morelos before or after the celebration.

Do I need a Passport

Answer

Is there a dress code

Answer

Our wedding dress code is Tropical Formal. Our celebration will take place outdoors on a rooftop ocean view terrace, with cocktail hour and photos on the beach at sunset, so we recommend lightweight, breathable fabrics. For guests who would like to lean into the festive spirit, florals and shades of pink, red, and sunset-inspired colors would complement the celebration beautifully!

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for, and we feel so grateful to celebrate this special time in our lives with you. Please know that your love, support, and being there with us means more than anything! If you would like to treat us with a gift, we’ve included a registry on our website for convenience.

Why Valentine's Day Weekend?

We intentionally chose Valentine’s Day weekend because it is when we got engaged (2.15.26). With Presidents Day on Monday, we hope it makes traveling easier and allows for extra time away from work or school. We also hope it creates the perfect long-weekend getaway for you to escape the cold of winter and celebrate love with us!

Expected weather in Puerto Morelos

Answer

February is one of the most beautiful times of year in Puerto Morelos, with warm sunny days, low humidity, and comfortable evenings. Guests can typically expect daytime temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s °F, with cooler evenings in the upper 60s to low 70s °F. It’s the perfect weather for beach days, swimming, and outdoor celebrations. We recommend packing light resort wear, swimwear, sandals, sunscreen, and a light sweater for the evenings.

Can I share a room with a group of friends?

Answer

For guests traveling with a group or larger family, we recommend the one- or two-bedroom residences. These spacious accommodations can host 4–8 guests and are a great option for sharing a room to reduce the cost per person, while still enjoying plenty of comfort and space together.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request

Answer

Yes, when booking your stay through our room block, please notify the concierge of any allergies. All food at the resort is made to order, and the team will do their best to accommodate you.

Can I Bring a Guest, Children, or my Puppy

Answer

Please refer to your invitation for those included in our celebration. While dogs are welcome at the resort, resort policy does not allow pets at the ceremony, reception, or any scheduled group events. Kindly RSVP by September 1, 2026.
