We met when Jessica went on a field trip with her sister in the 4th grade at New Orleans Christian Academy. When Jessica first walked through those doors l I knew she was the one, it was love at first sight. Not long she became a student at NOCA as well. During the school year we came to know each other and got to be good friends. Over time I came to realize she liked me too just by the way she was always aggravating me and some other people were telling me she liked me as well. My friends and cousin kept telling me to confess to her, but I didn't listen and was too scared to back then. Then when we reached the 6th grade it was announced that the school was closing down. After the school shut down we didn't see each other until a couple of years later, but we still kept in touch from time to time and texted and talked to each other. That was when we confessed to each other that we liked one another long ago. Then one day I decided to go back to church one weekend and I saw her there again, but this time I was not the same person I was back then. I was a lot bolder this time. Next, she invited me to a church event and I decided to go with her and we started reconnecting that night. A couple of days after is when I asked if she wanted to go out with me and she said yes. I'm glad in the few years I had time to grow that I became bold enough to ask the girl of my dreams to be mine forever.
I will never forget the first time I met Collin. As soon as he laid eyes on me, he then became as bright red as a tomato. After the whole day, random people came up to me telling me he liked me. I was shy, so I ignored it. Once I switched schools to attend NOCA, it couldn't be avoided any longer. For weeks and weeks, his friends came up to me telling me he liked me and I just said ok. Eventually, I did began to develop a crush on Collin as well. When I got to know him as a person, I saw that he was smart and determined. Once our paths were separated we always kept in touch via texting and I invited him to events at church. But when I saw him in person I made myself busy to avoid him because I was shy. It surprised me one day when I saw him at church and after he started talking to me, instead of ignoring each other like we usually do. Once me and Collin started talking we never stopped. That day started us on a path of becoming the bestest friends and after realizing I don't want to spend my life without him.
