Thanks for stopping by our wedding page! Our special day is going to be a unique and intimate backyard style wedding and you may have some burning questions, like why so many changes of clothes? We originally "met" in high school as we went to the same youth group at Prospect United Methodist Church. We caused mayhem and danced at youth group lock-ins. There are many stories about this time but we were just friends. Almost a decade later Chris was working as an EMT after finishing his service in the Army and I just finished my Masters in social work and he invited me to the employee Christmas party at McCrays Tavern. We thought we would catch up and see where life took us over free food and ugly Christmas sweaters! Someone at the party even asked if I was his wife, and we quickly responded, "no we're just friends!" Little did we know it would quickly evolve into something beautiful and Chris asked me to be his girlfriend a few weeks later after helping me set up my trapeze in a park :) Even today Chris still asks me "Do you want to date?" and I adoringly respond yes! :)

So just a heads up, this isn't going to be your "typical" wedding, but it will still be a wonderful celebration :) We aren't really people to follow the latest trends; so we ask that you support us in that the most important thing is a marriage that is healthy, weathers hard days, and celebrates the joyous moments that life brings as we join our journeys together. We invite you to celebrate with us and create a stone of remembrance that will last for the rest of our lives and have a great time! :)
