4th of July Celebration
If you’ll be here for the 4th of July, you won’t want to miss the #1 firework show in Kansas- only a 20 minute drive from your hotel.
Konza Prairie - Nature Trail
Want to get a little sun and explore the beauty Flint Hills? The Konza Prairie is a great place for a hike. There are three trails (2.6, 4.6, or 6.2 miles) that all begin in the same location. Make sure to pause for a moment at the top of the hill to take in the view. This is the spot where we had our first kiss and where we got engaged!
Radina's Bakehouse
This is our favorite coffee shop in all of Manhattan. It is also where we went on our first date and for breakfast the morning we got engaged. Needless to say, this place is pretty special to us! Whether you are looking for coffee, breakfast, a small bite to eat, or a sweet treat, you can't beat this place. They also have several other locations around town.
Bourbon & Baker
This is our favorite place to go to celebrate the small and big things in life. It was the first place we went after we got engaged. If you're feeling adventurous, this is the place to go! They serve up delicious gourmet small plates to share- or not ;) - as well as fantastic mixed drinks and a long list of bourbons.
Tallgrass Tap House
By far the best burgers in town! Locally-sourced ingredients and an ever-changing assortment of their own craft beers on tap. Rooftop seating here is a must!
