Chris and I first met through social media, Instagram to be exact. I had posted something on my story and he replied to it. We began talking and getting to know each other over the course of two weeks before going on our first day. My first impression of Chris was how easy and comfortable I was around him. All of our conversations flowed and we didnt go through any awkward stages as we talked. Fast forward to our first date where Chris had planned everything, we went to Teds Montana Grill, which has become a staple for us in our relationship. After dinner we went to the movies and saw Jurassic World. At the end of the date, I felt elated, and knew that this was the person I was going to spend the rest of my life with. One of the first memories I have where I thought to myself, I could picture marrying Chris was when I had a severe panic attack and went to the hospital to get checked out. Chris was planning on giving his notice to his job the same day but quit all together when his boss refused to accommodate him being late or needing the day off. Of course, Chris points to a different memory as a particular highlight of our relationship. He recalls the time that we cosplayed Link and Zelda from The Legend of Zelda something he had always wanted to do. Also last Christmas after needing surgery and going through a medical scare and having me by his side through it all. The proposal happened November 3rd, 2024 at Disneys Epcot in the Japan Pavillon. I had made the suggestion to Chris of how fun it would be to get engaged surround by our friends. He had told me it wasnt going to happen that year maybe early 2025 so I put it out of my mind. Entrusting several of our friends that went us they helped pull off the proposal in the simplest but best way! I was flooded with shock and was completely speechless. The idea of spending forever with Chris is something I look forward to everyday. I get to spend the rest of my life with not only an amazing partner, but my best friend.
