Jess was in need of a major life change and made the decision to move from Baltimore to the Eastern Shore in 2017. Fast forward a year or so and she was searching for her birth parents (she's adopted). Chuckie thought that was admirable (or maybe she was just cute) and reached out to tell her so. They eventually met in person at one of the OGANA conventions on the beach. They went out on a date, Jess fell head over heels in love, and things got a bit chaotic for a while. Fast forward (again) through a lot of ups and downs, Chuckie finally made the decision to allow himself to be loved, and they've been inseparable ever since. They've created a beautiful life together and have stuck with each other through both the good and not so good. They are each other's "person", each other's safe place, and each other's home. They brought a beautiful baby girl into the world who is the best thing to ever happen to them. They're looking forward to seeing what else life has in store for them. Their life may not be a storybook fairytale, but it's exactly perfect for them and they wouldn't have it any other way.
