During the last week of May 2016, Chance's best friend and my cousin decided it would be a genius idea to introduce Chance and me. We were both single but neither of us was looking for a relationship. Not thinking much of it we agreed to hang out with one another that night which lead to us hanging out every day that week then on May 28th, 2016 Chance made it official by asking me to be his girlfriend. 7 years later, I guess we really owe it all to them!

May 6, 2022, a big day for me that turned into a much bigger day when Chance finally upgraded me to "fiance". I remember being so upset with my sister for not attending my graduation, little did I know she was doing some "behind the scenes" work on the proposal Chance had planned out for me. I can not explain the emotions I felt when I opened the door to our house and the words "Marry Me" were laying on the floor in rose petals surrounded by candles and pictures of us and the memories we shared over the last six years. Few tears were shed, however, I did state "are you serious right now" about 50 times before my mind came to a realization that this moment was actually happening. Of course, I said "yes" as I had been dreaming about this since I was 15.
