We already have a whole home so we don't need any gifts! If it something you would still like to do, gift cards are much appreciated. We mostly just want you there to celebrate with us!
For those who read through our website.. We are asking people to bring just a plate of whatever dessert you would like to share! Kind of like a dessert potluck. Either homemade or bought, we don't mind.
This is a working farm! Not just a wedding venue. Mike and Dee were nice enough to offer to let us have a wedding at their farm. Heels may not be the most comfortable because there is a little walk down to the river for the ceremony. Be comfortable!
We don't have a dress code. Obviously we would like people to dress up a little but it is not required. Just don't show up in sweatpants.
It is typically around 90 degrees in Orland in September. So it will be warm! The dance floor will be outside so it will be warm in the beginning but hopefully cool down as everyone starts to dance.
Rolling Hills Casino is the closest hotel to stay at. It's about 20 minutes away. Hotels in Chico are about 30 minutes away.
The venue is out in the middle of farmland, the likelihood of being able to Uber or Lyft is slim. I know you can schedule ahead for that and maybe you would be able to. Be responsible and have a DD just in case!
