Chad and Jessica were first introduced by Judy and Shawn, who were on a mission, to bring true love to UPMC Mercy Hospital. Before introducing Chad, Judy gave Jessica tips on catching a soulmate, such as speaking seductively with a long hello. Jessica knew Chad was a keeper after she tried all of Judy's silly suggestions on him, and he didn't go running for the hills. Seriously though, there was instant chemistry between the two and their first date at Phipps Conservatory, quickly turned into endless hours on the phone, and dates whenever Chad's hectic work schedule would allow. Since then, this chemistry continues to grow and as the saying goes, "opposites attract", which is definitely true for these two. The type of love they have never fades, it simply grows stronger and more powerful each moment that passes because of their genuine love and appreciation for each other, and especially those differences. The contrasts between the two have established a relationship based on mutual respect, learning, and a lot of spice. One thing they have in common, is how much they love Chad's daughter, Maddison, who means the world to both of them. Now they are a family of three, with the perfect family tree.
