Like any millennial couple looking for love in their 30's, we met on Hinge. Rumor has it that Courtney and Melissa created Cameron's Hinge account for him because they were tired of seeing him mopey and alone. I had been on and off of the dating apps after getting bored or discouraged for a couple of months when a friend finally told me to date the unexpected. Well whats more unexpected then a man with a mullet in a 4th of July romper? He hit me with the most Cameron pick up line "Keystone?" as a response to the snowboarding picture I had on my profile and naturally, I had to swipe right and see where things went. Anyone who knows Cameron knows he is not a great texter but I still paid for the airplane wifi secretly hoping to continue our conversation about classic toys and how this generation would never know the pure joy of the Etch-A-Sketch or LiteBrite. After a few days of messaging back and forth, he finally asked me on a date. We decided on Chuy's because who doesn't Mexican food and both waited patiently for Saturday to arrive. Saturday came, our first date was filled with laughter, games, deep conversation, and a request to see each other again and we've been pretty much inseparable since then.
