Jessica and Bryan met their freshman year of high school. They became friends and even sat next to each other during their lunch period. Bryan never actually spoke to Jess and Jess thought it was because he did not like her- years later she found out he was too shy around her to speak because he had a crush on her. Fast forward through the duration of their high school years where they remained friends and part of separate friend groups. Jess looked out for Bryan's at parties and took care of him when needed. All whilst they dated other people. In 2019 everything changed in the Poconos Mountains while Jess and Bryan ended up on a snowboarding trip together with their mutual friends. Jess had bronchitis and was not supposed to be around people let alone snowboarding down a mountain, but she did not let that stop her, and thank God she hadn't. While on that trip Jessica and Bryan reconnected and picked up where they left off freshman year of high school in 2012. Bryan cared for Jess the whole weekend; getting her inhaler when needed, cool cloths to keep her fever at bay, and getting water for her when she needed to take her pills. And so the story goes, Jess fell in love with Bryan and Bryan fell in love with Jess. In sickness and in health.
