It’s Happening!

In April of 2017, Brandon started to send me messages through Facebook. We would speak to each other every so often through Facebook after that. Brandon expressed to members of my family that he was crushing on me. He also attended a few of my softball practices to show interest, but I was not single at the time. Exactly two years later, we became more than just friends and we felt it was perfect timing. For my birthday that year (2019), Brandon, Trajon and Ashton took me out. We went to Hi-Wire in Sandhills and then to MOD Pizza - one of my favorite places to eat. July 2019 is when we took our first trip to Charleston with Trajon and Ashton for the 4th of July. This became a tradition for the next two years. We celebrated our first Christmas in 2019 in our pajamas as the tradition has continued. In October 2020, we welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world, our Brianna Alexis. At this point, we felt our family was complete. In 2021, we took our first beach trip to Myrtle Beach during Spring Break. Each year, we have tried to make memories that will last forever. The week before Valentine's Day in 2022, Brandon was persistent about what we had planned for Valentine's Day. He never planned dates so since he was planning this date, I wanted to make sure I was extra cute and ready for the night out. On February 12, 2022, Brandon took me to Chophouse of Chapin for our Valentine's date. Not knowing what was about to happen, everyone was so nice and welcoming at the restaurant. The food was amazing and Brandon's company made it perfect. Brandon brought my gift to the restaurant and I kept asking him why do I need to take my gift into the restaurant, but I went along with what he wanted. The basket that Brandon gave me consisted of my engagement ring, along with other items that he knew I liked. Brandon then proceeded to ask me to marry him and I said "YES" (of course). A few days later, the wedding planning started. Our wedding date was then established for March 18, 2023, where we will become one as a union. We will share this day with our most close family and friends. On that day, best friends will become partners for life!!!
