How remote is Sugar Hollow Retreat?

Answer

Very! Cell phone reception is spotty at best. We would recommend saving or printing directions from your starting point (welcome back Map Quest!) as GPS reception will be lost. No cell phone service is available on the property. Fear not- there is free Wifi available in the cabins. We will provide detailed maps and schedules of where the bride and groom will be throughout the weekend so you can join us if you would like since we will also not have cell phone service! We hope (although not quite negotiable...) you enjoy a quiet unplugged weekend of festivities with memories to last a lifetime.

What amenities are provided at Sugar Hollow?

Answer

All linens are provided for you. Almost all rooms come with a private bathroom that contain shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. Full kitchens are available in every cabin and stocked with coffee. We will provide water and a small assortment of snacks in the cabins. Each cabin is equipped with a laundry room with detergent provided.

What meals will we share together?

While we understand you may explore restaurants on your own - we will be providing all of our guest the meals below if you choose to join us! Reminder a small assortment of snacks will be available at each cabin and you are able bring whatever food and use the full kitchen as you like. Thursday- Cookout Dinner Friday- Reception Dinner Saturday- Wedding Day Brunch and Reception Dinner Sunday- Farewell Brunch Please RSVP to each event if you are planning to join so we can appropriately plan!

Will alcohol be provided?

Answer

Yes! There will be several beer taps available throughout the entire weekend at The Lodge. There will be signature drinks at the cocktail hour and an open bar at the reception. We will also have non-alcoholic beverages available as well. Outside of the ceremony and reception you are free to bring whatever alcohol you would like on property.

Whilst we love little ones, we kindly request a child-free wedding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking available at each cabin as well as lots of parking at Over Mountain Hall (the location of ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception).

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes- we kindly request Black Tie Optional for the ceremony and reception. Our theme is dark, refined vintage if you find it fun to follow the theme!
