We got married at a small ceremony in February 2025, with our pastor and a few friends. Come and celebrate with us this August!

We met in St. Louis, where Benny is doing medical residency and Jessica is doing a PhD. Benny’s first gift to Jessica was a bouquet of Lego flowers that they built together. Jessica’s first gift to Benny was a bundle of Christmas cookies made using her grandma’s recipe. Since then, Benny has taught Jessica how to make lava cake and play chess (Benny still wins every time!). Jessica has taught Benny how to make enchiladas and play Galaga. Benny asked Jessica to marry him during a trip they took together to Changsha (where Jessica lived before for two years as an English teacher) and Shanghai (Benny’s hometown, and the continued home of his parents and grandparents). We’re excited to make our home together for now in St. Louis, and to be together for all of the adventures to come!
