Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Jessica Swanson and Andrew Slayman
We're so excited to share some things to do while you are in town. We hope you love SB as much as we do!
The Funk Zone

The Funk Zone

137 Anacapa Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

We love the funk zone! It is a a small section of downtown Santa Barbara that is close to the beach that is very walkable. It has a bunch of great breweries, wine tasting rooms and some solid places to grab snacks too! Some of our faves are Validation Ale, Topa Topa & Lama Dog (don't judge them by the names!), Fig Mountain Brewing, as well as Pali Wine & Fess Parker tasting room.

Celebration Cruises of Santa Barbara

Celebration Cruises of Santa Barbara

237 Stearns Wharf, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

If you like a boat ride, this is a great way to see the coast line from the water! We have done this a handful of times at sunset and never regret it!

Hot Springs Canyon Trailhead

Hot Springs Canyon Trailhead

1202-1298 East Mountain Drive, Montecito, CA 93108

One of our favorite hikes to do early in the morning. It is a steady incline that can take anywhere from 30-45 mins depending on fitness level. The hot springs are so peaceful and feel incredible after hiking to the top! Make sure to bring a suit and a towel!

Douglas Family Preserve

Douglas Family Preserve

Santa Barbara, CA 93109

Check out the place where Andrew proposed to Jess! It is Whiskeys top three favorite places in Santa Barbara!

Butterfly Beach

Butterfly Beach

Montecito, CA 93108

Butterfly Beach is a beautiful beach but any beach along Cabrillo Blvd near downtown Santa Barbara will do. They are all clean and are easily accessible.

Courthouse

State Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93105

Santa Barbara has one of the most beautiful Courthouses I've ever seen. You can walk through, pack a little picnic and enjoy the sunshine in the sunken gardens.

Rent a Bike!

Santa Barbara, CA 93101

One of our favorite things to do is ride our bikes around town. We enjoy using the boardwalk/bike path that runs parallel to the beach and downtown to the funk zone or restaurants on State Street. There are public e-bikes that you can rent from stations called BCycle that are located all throughout SB, they easy to rent via your phone and can be rented by the hour. Rad Power Bike located in the Funk Zone is also a great option for bike rentals.

Kayak Santa Barbara

301 West Cabrillo Boulevard, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

One of the best ways to explore the coast is to be on it! You can rent kayaks or paddle boards by the hour.

East Beach Batting Cages

226 South Milpas Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93103

I know it sounds strange, but the batting cages have excellent tacos. Don't knock it until you try it!

Third Window Brewing Santa Barbara

406 East Haley Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

Check out where Andrew & Jess first met! And while you're there, try the best Smash Burgers in town!
