It began in the most unexpected way, somewhere between fate and what we like to call Facebook Marketplace for humans. From different worlds, complete opposites in so many ways, our paths crossed at just the right moment. And somehow, what shouldn’t have made sense… did. What started as a comment, a pink dress, and a conversation full of jokes turned into something more. He was on deployment in another state, so for months we were just voices on the phone and faces on a screen… until October 2025, when we finally met in person, and everything became real.
