Pincushion Peak Trailhead

San Joaquin River Trail, Friant, CA 93626

AJ & Jessica love this trail, about 35 minutes outside of Clovis. Come see a stunning view of the Sierra Nevada peaks! (p.s. AJ found out about matching in Anesthesia here on this trail) Moderate-to-Moderately Hard trail.

Lewis Creek Trail South Trailhead

Cedar Valley Drive, Oakhurst, CA 93644

Located in Sierra National Forest, Lewis Creek offers 2 trails right outside of the gates of Yosemite National Park, both with gorgeous waterfalls. 50 minutes outside of Fresno, located in Oakhurst, CA right off of Highway 41.

Backyard Social Club

A laid-back 21+ spot we love, this place is perfect for hanging out and socializing. It features outdoor games like cornhole and giant pong, great pizza, and affordable drinks. On select nights, they host trivia and karaoke, making it an easy, fun place to spend an evening.

Yosemite National Park

CA

The gates of Yosemite National Park are about 1.5 hours north of Fresno, taking Highway 41 North. Yosemite Valley, where most of the hiking trails are located, is about 1 hour passed the gates. Views here are incredible, with trails of varying difficulty & length. There are plenty of lodging and restaurant options in the area, both outside of the gates of Yosemite and inside the gates of the park. Half dome, Lower & Upper Yosemite Falls, and El Capitan Falls are located inside the park.

Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks

The gates of Kings Canyon National Park are about 1 hour east of Fresno, taking Highway 180 east. Although the parks are adjacent, you must drive through Kings Canyon to reach Sequoia National Park. Both parks have trails of varying difficulty and length. Both parks offer gorgeous views of the 3,000 year old Giant Sequoias and the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.
