Our story started at our very first jobs out of nursing school. We both got hired for night shift in the ICU at ECM hospital. We were both brand new nurses on night shift in the ICU, just trying to figure out how to be real nurses while making it through those long nights. It didn't take long for us to notice each other. Adam pretty quickly earned a reputation for one thing, he was the guy who could get an IV with the ultrasound when no one else could. So any time Jessica had a tricky IV, she’d go hunt him down. Those late night hallway chats, shared laughs, and little moments of teamwork slowly pulled us closer. Two years later, that friendship quietly turned into something more. We started dating, and yes, we kept it a secret from our coworkers for as long as we could. Looking back, we’re so grateful for every shift, every conversation, and every tiny moment that brought us together. We really believe the Lord had His hand in our story from the very beginning, guiding us to each other in the most unexpected way. And now, stepping into this next chapter, we’re just so thankful for the love that grew from that season and for all the people we get to share it with.
