Aaron and Jessica met on the dating app Bumble in September of 2016, and the rest is history!

Quarantine wasn't going to stop Aaron from making his proposal perfect! Originally, we were meant to travel to Spain in early May where Aaron had planned to propose. Plans changed, but Aaron stayed the course, planning a date night at home. He set up lights and torches across our back patio, ordered food from one of our favorite restaurants and wore the same outfit he wore on our first date. Jessica was surprised as she walked onto the patio noticing all that had been done to make it look special. Soon after the meal began, Aaron went inside. He came back out playing our song, La Vie En Rose, holding a large bouquet of roses, and popped the question. It was absolutely perfect! Even Bosley, our dog, was excited.

The ceremony and reception will be at The Collector's Room 1520 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC. Located in Charlotte’s bustling South End neighborhood, this is a unique space with city views and artistic flair. It is connected to the Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art. There are plenty of restaurants, breweries and things to do in the area.
