Chicago Architecture Tour
We love being a tourist in our own City - this is hands down one of favorite. Take a guided boat tour up and down the Chicago River, see the city from a truly unique vantage point, and learn about some of historic architecture that makes Chicago’s skyline the best in world. And if you’re not into the history, the boat ride is incredibly relaxing and there is a fully stocked bar. If you get here early and have 90 minutes to kill, this is a must! You can choose to go day or night..if you can get the sunset tour, it’s definitely our favorite.
Rent a Divvy Bike and ride along lake front
Jess and I love riding our bikes along the Lakefront. For an inexpensive way to explore Chicago and get some of the best views of the city, we recommend renting a Divvy bike (they have electric ones too) and riding south along the lakefront path to the museum campus. Stop at the Shedd Aquarium or the Planetarium to see our favorite view of the city. There is plenty to do along the way like stop for a drink or a burger at one of the beach side bar & grilles or check out Navy Pier. Navy Pier might be a mad house that weekend so probably best to avoid!
