Definitely check out the NYC Ferry system. They have an app where you can check schedules and purchase tickets. It's a very easy and economical way to get around NYC with great views of the skyline. There is a ferry stop right next to both Hunter's Point South Park (the Ceremony) and Maiella (the Reception Dinner). There is a snack bar on board that serves coffee, beer and wine on tap and light snacks.
