What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi formal/cocktail attire.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Yes! Our theme is Great Gatsby! Colors will be as follows: Cream, Black, and Gold. We are encouraging everyone to dress like it’s 1920 if they are able to! If the style isn't “Great Gatsby” that is quite alright as long as you have the color! There will also be some costume jewelry and other options for you to dress up your outfits!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be at the same location, so no need to travel once you arrive!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will be held indoors!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We’re suggesting an hour to 45 minutes before the ceremony so everyone is there on time and we can start this party off right!

Are children welcome?

Answer

OF COURSE! Please, when you RSVP, make sure you are also RVSP'ing for your child(ren)! If we have missed any children on the physical invitation and you'd like to bring them, please email us at: mnjmatthewswedding@outlook.com, include how many children, and their names. Subject: LITTLE ONES

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation has "guest" or "plus one" you are more than welcome to!

Is there going to be assigned seating? Can we request seating arrangements?

Answer

Yes, assignments will be displayed during the cocktail hour. Seating arrangements will be predetermined, and while we respect that you may have a preference, due to the large number of guests, the seating arrangements will be set in advance.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #MJWinsTheJesspot so we can keep track of all of your pictures or tag us directly in your post! PLEASE, we only ask that you DO NOT take pictures during the actual ceremony. We will include several picture opportunities during the ceremony. Please respect the photographers and refrain from taking pictures unless directed that it's appropriate.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Yes, but please only take one. There may be other people that would like one, too!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

We will not be mailing out RSVP cards so please make sure to do it online, if you are not able to do so on here. We will accept email RSVPs as well at: mnjmatthewswedding@outlook.com please include your name(s), food of choice, any dietary restrictions and a subject line that says RSVP!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed dearly! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP no, so we can plan accordingly.

What Happens if I RSVP Yes and Then Can't Go?

Answer

If you originally RSVP yes and then something comes up where you will not be able to make it, then please reach out to mnjmatthewswedding@outlook.com subject: RSVP CANCELLATION. We will understand and celebrate with you in spirit!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes! There will be a few hours of open bar, hors d'oeuvres, the main course and dessert as well!

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

We will be providing a vegetarian option. Please note, when submitting your RSVP there is a question about dietary restrictions/allergies!
