There are so many beautiful wineries in Temecula Valley Wine Country - just a short drive away from Pala Mesa Resort. We recommend Southcoast Winery, Ponte Winery, Avensole, Fazeli Cellars, Lorimar Vineyards and Winery - but there are tons more to choose from!
San Diego Zoo
A beautiful zoo with so much to see!
Breweries in Temecula, CA
There are also lots of great breweries in Temecula - Refuge, Aftershock, and Ironfire are favorties!
Balboa Park, San Diego, CA
A gorgeous park with lots to see, including the Organ Pavillion, Japanese Zen Garden, Botanical Garden, and Cactus park. This was where we had our engagement photos taken!
Golf
There are several golf courses in the area (including a state-of-the-art course at Pala Mesa Resort!) and weather and scenery are both perfect.
Beaches
Oceanside, CA is ~30 minutes away and has sprawling beaches and a pier. Carlsbad, CA is also home to many beaches. San Diego proper is known for its wide array of beaches including Pacific Beach, La Jolla Cove, and Sunset Cliffs.
