FAQs

Here's a list of some commonly asked questions - please feel free to reach out to Jake or Jessica personally if there's something not listed on here that you would like to know!
Question

I see the reception listed on the schedule. What about the ceremony?

Answer

We won't be having a ceremony, as we are exchanging vows in a private ceremony between just the two of us! The after party will be the reception that follows - there will be dancing, eating, and drinking - all the fun things that you do at a wedding reception. We can't wait to celebrate our marriage with you!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by September 20th, 2025.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation and RSVP will state a guest if invited. Due to space constraints, we ask that you please do not bring any additional guests, other than those listed on your RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, based on space constraints, kids are not allowed unless specifically invited on your invitation.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know ahead of time if you have any specific food allergies or requests!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual/semi-formal - don't stress over this! Think nice, casual cocktail dress for women and pants/shirt for men. We care more that you are there, not what you wear!

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

There is a parking garage located directly behind the Delaplaine Arts Center on East All Saints Street, Frederick, MD. This is the most convenient parking location, but most of downtown Frederick is pretty walkable.
