Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes – the dress code is Beach Formal. Think elevated and elegant, but still comfortable for sand and sun. Long sundresses, maxi dresses, or jumpsuits are perfect for women, and linen suits or dress shirts with slacks (jackets optional) work well for men. For women's shoes, avoid stiletto heels; maybe opt for a wedge, block heel, kitten heel, or nice sandals instead! The ground is not fully sand like it would be on the beach, but it is a hard, sandy surface. Our bridal party will be wearing red, so if you’d like to shine in another shade, feel free to explore the rest of the color palette—but if red is calling your name, go for it! Please avoid from wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride: whites, ivories and creams.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only if your invitation includes a plus one. We’ve carefully planned our guest list, so we’re only able to accommodate those specifically named on the invitation. If you bring a date unannounced, they will not have a seat at dinner, no discussion. Thanks for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your kiddos, we’re keeping our celebration adults only. We hope you can treat it as a mini getaway—you deserve it! Hacienda Encantada also offers babysitting services for guests staying at the resort. Please note that if you bring your child to the ceremony or reception, you will be asked to leave.

Will the Wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will take place outside! This outdoor venue features a hard, sandy beach-like ground and captivating views of the ocean below! It hardly ever rains this time of year in beautiful Cabo San Lucas so don't worry about weather!

What do I do if I have a food restriction or allergy?

Please reach out to Jessica or Hudson and we'll be happy to help accommodate! The dinner is a buffet style dinner so you can pick and choose what you would like to eat.

If I'm invited to the rehearsal dinner, what do i wear?

Answer

Dress code is "Coastal Chic" - Think relaxed elegance inspired by the coast—light, breezy, and polished without being overly formal. Flowy dresses, sundresses, linen pieces, and lightweight fabrics are perfect choices. Soft neutrals, pastels, and coastal tones (like blues, greens, or sandy hues) work beautifully. You CAN keep your shoes on aboard the boat! I know the invitation said no shoes onboard but we confirmed that you 100% can wear your shoes on the boat.

How do I get to the Resort from the Airport?

Answer

Taxis or shuttle services are all available in Cabo! It is about a 45 minute ride from the airport to the resort, you can either plan ahead of time or wing it when you get there! Both options are safe, just make sure to take legitimate transportation services :) If you prefer the shuttle service, please contact the resort directly for help reserving a shuttle. Taxi's are available outside the airport. Ubers are NOT available from the airport to the resort, but they are available around town once you get outside the airport area. How do I get Inside the Resort if I am Not staying There?

Answer

When you arrive at the entrance, a resort staff member will be there to ask you your name and room number; tell them you are there for the Greenfield wedding! They will have the full guest list of names so they know you are coming!

How Do i Get to the Wedding location once I am inside the resort?

Answer

Ask a Hacienda Encantada team member! They will be able to direct you towards the wedding venue.

How do i get to the beach, the marina, and downtown from the resort?

Answer

Hacienda offers a shuttle service that will take you to their sister resort, Marina Fiesta Resort, downtown by the marina, where you can also find the beach. The shuttle service is free for all-inclusive guests. You must reserve your shuttle spot(s) in advance at the on-property Starbucks by the lobby. They will give you 2 tickets: one for the shuttle downtown and one for the return shuttle back to the resort. Shuttles run every 2 hours on the even hours from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM. The return shuttle runs every 2 hours on the half-hour mark of even hours from 10:30 AM - 8:30 PM. You do not need to reserve a specific time for the return shuttle! You can simply show up back at Marina Fiesta, where you were dropped off, and give the staff member your return ticket. This will allow you to get back on the shuttle at any return time to head back to the resort!
