Is this an indoors or outdoors event?

Outdoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Last year, the high was 85 and the low was 58... and it rained. We recommend bringing an extra layer to keep warm when the sun goes down, and stashing rain gear in your car just in case the weather goes sideways. The event is held underneath a tent!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black-tie optional or formal attire. Please no sundresses or khakis. Colors include, but are not limited to, blues, greens, plums, fuchsia, chartreuse, goldenrod, sage, and magenta. Imagine you are a beautiful flower resplendent in all its glory!

Are children allowed?

Answer

We apologize for asking this of our friends and family with children, but due to our desire to include as many loved ones as possible in the party, we ask that all children past infancy remain home. Also, we intend to get lit!

If children are not allowed, then why do I see children here?

Answer

Immediate family will be traveling from out-of-state to attend without an option for childcare, and members of the wedding party or immediate family may have children present for the same reason. To all friends and family who are able to comply, we appreciate your understanding. Reach out to Jessi if you have any concerns or requests!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Regretfully, we cannot accommodate plus-ones for our guests. Planning a wedding means wanting everyone to be comfortable and have the best time, while also being realistic in terms of budget and space. Sorry, friends! Again, if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Jessi.

What type of food will be served?

Tentatively, dinner will be provided by our favorite Indian restaurant, Curry Leaves! Options for entrees are in the RSVP portion of the website.

Why are there cops present?

Answer

The venue requires police officers to be on the premises of any function with alcohol present. Don't do anything stupid! We're paying them to be here!
