The Wedding Website of Jessi Krauss and Connor Verrill
This photo is in regards to parking - please see below. If you have any other questions beyond what we've listed here, please reach out to us!
Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

There is free street parking on numerous streets near the venue, as well as several available free parking lots behind the building, along Watkins Street. These lots are for other businesses, but our guests are permitted to use them. If you park in one of these lots along Watkins St., you will just need to be sure to walk to the front of the building to enter, as you will be parking at the rear side of the building. Please reference the PHOTO ABOVE for the available parking lots in the red, blue, green, and purple circles. You would then walk to the front of the building, marked with a Yellow "X" to enter the venue.

Question

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

The short answer is: Kids are allowed, but not recommended. We love your kids! And while your children are welcome to attend, we would suggest finding childcare, as the wedding will not be kid-friendly. Due to limited space and budget, we will not be able to provide seats for guests under the age of 6, so they must sit on their parents' laps or stand. Additionally, there will be loud music playing containing inappropriate language that will not be censored. Toasts & speeches will also be uncensored. Please use your discretion knowing your own children and please be considerate of possible distractions for you and others! Many couples enjoy having a child free night to themselves! Especially at a wedding! However, if you are not able to find childcare or would like your child to come, they may attend. Either way, please just be sure to RSVP accordingly. Contact Jessi or Connor with further questions!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm. You may arrive as early as 3:00 pm, but we recommend to arrive NO LATER than 3:45 pm to get parked and seated in time for the ceremony to begin at 4:00 pm. Please be considerate that arriving at or after 4 pm may create issues with our timeline or cause distraction during our special moments.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal/Cocktail** February weather in NC is unpredictable; it could be really cold, it could be in the 50s or it could be hot - you never know! Be sure to check the forecast leading up to the event! Thankfully, most of the events will take place inside. Guests will only need to go outside for short periods of time to get their dinner from the food truck or walk from their car to the venue. Since some people like to know to help them plan outfits, our wedding colors are shades of red, pink, and purple, as well as black and gold. **I know I personally always feel a bit lost or anxious about wedding guest attire and what all the categories entail, etc. If you feel that too, here is a guide that could be helpful! https://www.zola.com/expert-advice/what-to-wear-to-a-wedding

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

You can find our registry on this website! Look for the menu at the top and find "Registry" - Of course we consider gifts a privilege, not an expectation, however if you plan to give, our main request is our honeymoon fund!

Question

Will there be gluten free options for dinner? What about vegetarian/vegan?

Answer

While we can not 100% guarantee there will not be any cross contamination, yes, there will be options without gluten and without meat. We will be having snacks & drinks available during cocktail hour, and then your choice of an all you can eat taco food truck or Mediterranean buffet available for dinner during the reception. Both the appetizers and dinner will contain multiple gluten free and vegetarian options. If you have very strict allergies that are subject to cross contamination, we would recommend to bring your own meal option.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by December 11th, 2022. Of course the sooner we know, the better! If you need to make any changes to your RSVP after entering it, please be sure to do so or to let us know no later than January 20th. Please know that RSVPs are very crucial in our planning. If you are not able to attend, we totally understand, and just ask that you mark your RSVP in the website as "Not attending"!

Question

Will alcohol be served at your wedding?

Answer

YES. We will have an open bar for beer and wine and a cash bar for liquor. Alcohol service will start during our cocktail hour and will end towards the end of our reception.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

As much as we'd love to say "the more the merrier" to absolutely everyone, we will only be able to accommodate those addressed on the invitations. due to limited space and budget. If you are unsure if your invitation contains a plus one, feel free to reach out to us.
