I have expressed to her countless times that I am FOREVER grateful that Ty brought her into my life and since she has been a viable ASSET. 15+ years feels like a lifetime because our hearts are connected. I can be completely vulnerable with her; trust her with all of my secluded spaces and qualms and know that she will hold me up, and also tell me when I'm wrong. More importantly she has never judged me and I haven’t always knew all the “right” answers to life. She is always there to remind me just who I am when I forget. She have models TENACITY like no other; and I grow strength from her You get me! There would be no way that I would walk down the aisle without you being by my side; you are LIGHT.

From playing ball at the Naval Base in Lemoore to discussing the Texans most recent game, he was also there to sit and talk with about anything. He is a great father, brother, son, and his legacy will live on both in the wedding and in our married life together through family and business ventures honoring his name.

My Soulmate in Female Form + My Best Friend We met our Freshman year of high school when Keds and blue jean skirts were a popular thing. We nearly talked on the phone daily about the typical topics that 15 year old girls talk about, church, singing and the next song for our voicemails; we've always been different. My first roommate, partner in crime, the one that I can laugh with for hours, at this point we can finish each other sentences and share the same thoughts at the same time thousands of miles away. We have experienced so many of life's ups and downs together so it would only make sense that you would share this day with me.

Soccer + Cigars + French Quarter Chris has been my best friend for 8 years now. We met in New Orleans when we moved into an apartment together as we both relocated there for work. We instantly connected over sports and had many long nights listening to music in the French Quarter discussing everything from life to family to the most recent international soccer tournament. He is loyal, deep-hearted, and one of the most genuine guys I’ve ever met. Recently married himself, he is excited for another Southern wedding with family and friends.

Business Sounding Board + Teenage Best Friend Friends since we were 12. We have praise danced together, enjoyed hundreds of sleepovers together, fought and always made up. We can sit on the phone for hours and "talk shop" logos, to LLC, websites, short/long term goals, investments, rebrands, new ventures, etc. We CELEBRATE life and newness together from miles and miles away. It would be insane for us not to celebrated this day together.

Chef + Listening Ear Karl has been one of my closest friends for 7 years now as part of the Chris, Karl, Ferdous New Orleans crew. Kal is a classically trained chef who never had us leaving hungry, as he would create the most amazing meals where we would all get together and just enjoy quality time, food, and conversation. He is a Southern boy from the gulf of Mississippi, now living in Los Angeles. He has a huge heart and always prepared to listen and provide advice on how to navigate any event of life.

Happy Hour Rollie + Surprise Sister She "showed up" in my life 6 years ago and never left; like LITERALLY showed up. Drove 25+ hours from Houston to Phoenix, we met and we've been attached since. Relocating to Phoenix came with so many life lessons, and self-discovery for me and you were there every step of the way; just me and you. We have traveled, and brunched, and lunched, and been to countless happy hours, kept secrets, CRIED, and jammed Kevin Gates to Leandria Johnson. It simply wouldn't make sense to walk down the aisle without you.

I am grateful to Justin for so much more than just helping to change my life physically.

Airport Fashion Compliment + Long Lost Sister We met over 10+ years ago in an airport. I was "slaying" in some HOT PINK flats with the matching gumball jewelry and wide waist belt (it was the style then) she sat next to me and complimented my shoes and the rest was history. We have partied from state to state, had some crazy fun times together, evolved into women side by side. It would only make sense if you were by my side on my big day.

Family David has known Keisha since Marshall High School days - class of 2005. He has been a loyal friend and a part of the family. He has consistently been there for Keisha and the entire family, especially over the last couple years with phone calls, visits, and park play dates for the kids. He is a proud husband and father to little David. I have known David for about 2 years now, and he is always there to talk, help out with anything, and be a brother. I’m excited to have him by my side the entire wedding showing the rest of the wedding party how we celebrate H-town style.

My Biggest Blessing + My Youngest Best Friend Who would have thought that a 16 year old would have the capacity to take on the responsibility of a newborn? Sometimes I sit and wonder why God entrusted me with her life, and the reality is that I needed her more than she needed me. The journey of being her God-Mother has taught me grace, patience, tenacity, hard work, and love in it purest form. Loving her groomed me for life and I count it a privilege to have her by my side as I venture into another phase in life.
