Sarma is mediterranean tapas-style restaurant. It's one of our favorite restaurants to take our friends to! We recommend making reservations ahead of time, as well as leaving room in your stomachs for their dim-sum style offerings (such as their fried chicken). The menu is seasonal, but everything we've ever ordered has been delicious!
Our favorite seafood restaurant in the North End (Boston's own Little Italy neighborhood). They don't do reservations, and seating is first-come, first-served. Plan ahead to make sure you get a seat as it is one of Boston's most popular restaurants. Our favorites include the clam chowder, lobster roll, and Jesse's all-time favorite: the burger (it comes with fried oysters)!
IYKYK. We had a 2-year membership at this restaurant (this is the more newly opened location in Boston's Seaport District) and for 2 years, ate delicious homemade udon noodles for dinner at least 4 times a week. Chances are, you have seen us post pictures of these delicious noodles online!
Another Italian favorite in the North End. You can make reservations online, but make sure to plan ahead as they are frequently booked in advanced. Fun fact: Jen refused to dine Italian at a restaurant until she tried Carmelina's!
HANDS DOWN OUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM JOINT IN MASSACHUSETTS! Jesse has made multiple 1.5 gallon purchases of our favorite flavors there. They have unique flavors that change monthly based on local ingredients that they are able to source.
Harvard Square is one of our most frequented neighborhoods! We love going to Felipe's for nachos, tacos and burritos (it's seriously an institution here!) and walking around to explore all the different shops and eateries.
Level 99 is like a bunch of little escape rooms, all in once place! We recommend going with a group of at least 4 people to maximize success on all the different types of puzzles.
A new favorite of ours for Hong Kong cafe style comfort foods! A favorite of ours is the fried chicken sandwich in a bolo bao (pineapple bun). Fun fact: the chef won on Chopped!
For those staying closer to our venue, Derby Street Shops is a fun area for shopping and eating.
