Wedding Day: summer formal attire (floor to mid-length gowns, suit and tie) Welcome Party: lake-life cocktail attire (sun dresses, button down shirts)

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all the children in our lives, we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, you are not permitted a guest for the wedding.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, of course! Please let us know when making your menu selection on your wedding invitation.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the accommodations page for our recommendations, though there many other great hotels and Airbnb’s in the area, and we encourage you to stay wherever is best for you.

Is there transportation provided?

Answer

Guests staying at The Lodge can use the free shuttle running to Geneva National every five minutes. Guests are otherwise encouraged to use ride-shares or drive, with parking and valet available on site. On Friday, there will be shuttles taking guests from The Lodge to the Richter Home at 7pm, with return shuttles at 10 and 11pm.

Can I use my phone during the ceremony?

We ask that all phones be put away and silenced, as we want everyone to be fully present with us.

Will any events take place outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, we plan to do the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, with a tented party to follow.
