Our story actually starts before we were even born. Jesse’s dad (Robby Parrish) and Emmy’s dad (Gabe Carro) were in graduate school together at Vanderbilt and ran in the same social circle. Looking back at old photos, we’ve realized our parents were often in the background of each other’s pictures. The parents reconnected years later, to their surprise, when Jesse and Emmy met at a high school party Emmy threw. Emmy’s longtime friend Brooks was the one who made the introductions, and that’s where it all began. We met at 16 and have truly grown up together. We can’t wait for this next chapter together, something that’s been on our hearts since we were just some high school kids!
