Where is the venue?

The venue is at Forest House Lodge in Foresthill, California. The address is 24590 Main St., Foresthill, CA 95631.

What is the dress code?

Our wedding attire theme is all about formal with a fun twist! This means floor length gowns, dresses and suits. We encourage you to bring out bright colors and wear as much sparkle as you've got. Let’s make this celebration as vibrant and dazzling as possible!

What time should we get to the venue?

Answer

Plan on arriving to the venue at 3 pm. For the early birds, the bar will open at the venue at 2:30 pm. The ceremony is off site from the venue. There will be buses taking us to the ceremony site. If you miss the last bus, you will miss the ceremony.

What time are the shuttles?

Answer

Shuttles will leave the hotel for the venue at 1:30 pm, and 2:30 pm. Shuttles will return from the venue back to the hotels starting at 8 pm, leaving every hour until 2 am.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We adore your little ones, but to ensure our guests can relax and fully enjoy the celebration, we've decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP!

Will there be parking?

Answer

There is plenty of parking outside the venue. If you plan on staying at one of the hotels on our website, we have set up a shuttle service to pick you up from the hotel and bring you back after the party is over!

What accommodations are available?

We understand that many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us for our special day. To ensure your comfort, we've arranged room blocks at several nearby hotels. You can find more information on accommodations, including booking codes and special rates, on our website's "Accommodations" page. Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance or recommendations.

How should I get there?

There are some lodging options within walking distance of the venue. For those staying at the hotels suggested, we will provide shuttles to and from the venue. We want everyone to enjoy themselves, please no drinking and driving.

Will you be serving alcohol?

Yes! Drinks before the ceremony will be available for purchase. After the ceremony we will have an open bar.

Can I take photographs?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony. Photos are encouraged throughout the rest of the evening!

What time should I go home?

The Lodge opens up the lower level after dinner for late night festivities. The bar closes at 2 AM and there will be beer and wine downstairs in the game room to enjoy after 2 AM.
