Jesse and Susan’s story began long before either of them knew it would turn into forever. They first met as kids, growing up together at Prestonwood Christian Academy from kindergarten through senior year of high school. Along the way, they built a close friendship—one that even included Jesse taking Susan to senior year homecoming as friends. After graduation, both headed to Texas A&M, where their friendship continued to grow. It wasn’t until senior year of college—thanks to a Dollar Beers night and a little extra courage—that Jesse finally asked Susan out. Susan made him ask her out at least 5 times before she believed he wasn't playing a joke on her. After graduation, they spent a year navigating long distance, Susan moved to Dallas to begin her career, while Jesse stayed in College Station to complete his master’s degree. Once Jesse finished school, he moved to Dallas to start working, finally closing the distance for good. After more than three years of dating, Jesse proposed in May 2025, and Susan said yes without hesitation. On November 7, 2026, Jesse and Susan will say “I do” at Susan’s family lake house on Lake Conroe, surrounded by the people who have known them the longest and love them the most. What began as a lifelong friendship has become a forever kind of love, and they can’t wait to celebrate it together.
