A traditional Chinese wedding banquet is a 10-course family-style feast to celebrate the newlyweds. It’s how Steven’s parents got married, along with many of his extended family. The above is a photo of Jim Kung and Pat Tsao at their wedding in 1975. The 10-course set menu will include a number of pescetarian-friendly dishes, including a vegetarian dessert. The menu will also include several of Jesse and Steven’s favorite Chinese dishes, including Peking duck and lobster. Come hungry! During the banquet, Jesse and Steven will visit each table to toast their guests’ attendance.
100 percent yes.
We see you, we love you, we want you there. Because banquets are family style, it's difficult to ensure that we can accommodate all dietary restrictions. There will be a number of pescetarian dishes and one vegetarian dish. The San Gabriel Valley is a wonderland of food, however, and if you have strict dietary restrictions, we encourage you to explore before the party. Reach out to one of us if you have questions.
Like everything in LA, hotels are expensive. We recommend looking into AirBnb or other vacation rentals. The venue is in a somewhat sleepy part of the burbs. If you want to see more of LA, we suggest staying in Hollywood, West Hollywood, Los Feliz, Koreatown, or Silver Lake. If you want to be close to the beach, look into Venice or Santa Monica.
Yep! Restaurant has lots of free parking.
