FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We will send out invitations by February. Plan on letting us know if you can make it by mid-April.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are! Click the "registry" tab on the website. We have a few other things we would like for our new life together. We know that many of you are traveling long distances (and spending plenty of money) to be with us. This is gift enough in itself! We were advised to add a registry with a few things we want, in case there are those who feel compelled to give a gift.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

As you know, we are usually clad in hiking clothes so the whole formal-wedding-thing is new to us. Wear something presentable, but no need for suit jackets, tuxes, or ball gowns. Remember, the ceremony is outside in a meadow, and the reception is in a barn - so slacks and a nice shirt for guys, and summer dresses for the women seems appropriate. Additionally, cowboy hats and boots are highly encouraged!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You can! Most invites included the names of a significant other, but if this is not the case please feel free to bring a date and let us know their name when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Not at the ceremony or reception. They are welcome to attend the welcome event though! If you are travelling from out of state with kids, and need help finding a sitter for the day of the wedding, just let us know and we can connect you with a few of our friends who can recommend a babysitter.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Sure can. The dinner at the reception is a buffet - but it is BBQ so let us know if you are vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free etc. so we can make sure to accommodate.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Plenty of parking at Deer Creek Valley Ranch. The only caveat here is that cars cannot be left overnight.

Question

Does Uber/Lyft exist in Littleton?

Answer

It does! Rides will be easily accessible from the Littleton & Ken Caryl areas, but will be tough to get from the wedding site. If you want a ride home before the group shuttle leaves at 9:30pm we suggest scheduling an Uber or Lyft well in advance so you are not waiting forever.
