This is one of our favorite restaurants, we actually used to live down the road from here. We walked here for a night out often!

Please note: this is downtown so you may have to park in the street.

Butcher's Union

Ginza Sushi & Ramen Bar

We had our first date here! It is a great, casual place.

There are 2 locations- one downtown and one in Breton Village

Condado Tacos

This is Jesse's favorite burger spot! I took him here after he proposed to me. 

This is also downtown, so street parking is available.

Nonla Burger - Grand Rapids

This is one of our favorite spots- we got engaged here in the greenhouse. They have everything!
Burgers, Thai food, coffee, Indian food, sushi, desserts, etc.

They have on-site paid parking or street parking

Grand Rapids Downtown Market

We love visiting the zoo day or night! The Lantern Festival runs April- June 2026 and we highly recommend.

John Ball Zoo

We love this spot- it has beautiful art and nature!
